What this checks
The checker reviews missing values, row structure, valid calendar dates, three-letter currency formatting, positive quantities, non-negative prices and percentage ranges. Quoted CSV fields and quoted line breaks are supported. It does not check whether a currency exists, calculate tax liability, validate an XML schema or confirm government acceptance. Credit notes and negative adjustment lines need a separate review.
How to use the report
- Start with a sample export rather than a full customer database.
- Fix source data with your finance and ERP teams.
- Agree the target schema, document types and provider tests separately.
Does a clean result mean my invoices are compliant?
No. A clean result only means the checks described above found no basic data issues. Provider validation and country-specific requirements are separate.
