What does InvoiceNext Connect mean?

Connect is the ERP integration conversation: identify the invoice source, map its data to the required document model, validate the result and define the handoff to an accredited provider. We agree the precise interfaces, supported country and operating responsibilities before committing to a delivery scope.

What should an ERP expose?

Prepare invoice headers, issue dates, currency, seller and buyer tax identifiers, line quantities, prices, allowances, tax categories and totals. Include original-document references for corrections and a stable source identifier. Treat this as a discovery pack, not a complete statutory field specification.

How does the integration work?

Your ERP → InvoiceNext preparation and validation → accredited-provider handoff → exchange and status feedback. Test invoice creation, rejection, correction and replay. Decide where the definitive accepted status lives and how finance users see exceptions.

An illustrative mapping

Example: source invoice_number maps to an external document reference; customer_tax_id to the buyer tax identity; currency to the document currency. The final payload depends on the country profile and provider API. Never send a production invoice during a discovery test.

What happens during technical discovery?

We review API or export access, field coverage, invoice samples, volumes, entity boundaries, sandbox availability and provider onboarding. The outcome is a scoped route, open questions and an implementation/testing plan. A specific ERP connector is confirmed only after acceptance testing.
